    Joplin MO

I see that a tornado has done serious damage to a hospital in Joplin MO. We were there not too long ago, and I hope none of our members were involved. There has also been a tornado in a suburb of Minneapolis. I hope all our members are safe and well.

I'm sure the folks in SW MO would covet your prayers. My Daughter, Son in law and newborn grandson passed Joplin on I-44 about an hour before this storm hit the area. They were returning to Wichita from a weekend stay with my parents in Bella Vista AR. They stopped in Parsons KS. to use the facilites at the Walmart and ended up spending an hour at the back of the store due to another Tornado warning.

As a point of reference, we were less than 2 miles away from the damaged Hospital during the regional meet.

ABC just showed the flattened Home Depot where 7 survivors were found. It is just north of the NCRS meet (at the Holiday Inn) on Range Line Road. Yikes.

Do we have any members that live in Joplin? If yes and they were effected by the storm maybe be we could help them out?

What a horrible tragedy. Had the weather channel on most of the day as the SW Corner of PA was threatened by a possible tornado (again) severe storms and large hail. So far the weather man has been incorrect but it's early.
God Bless all of those that lost their lives in Joblin., Minnesota, etc. Lets pray real hard for them, their family and friends.

          Great idea Bill Lacy.
