? on correct headlight and wiper door vaccum hoses on a 70

Did these come originally with the 90 degree molded ends or straight? Also red or green stripe.

OK. Are you asking about 90* molded ends on the vacuum lines to the headlight actuators -- NO

Red and green stripe to the headlight actuators -- YES

90* molded end on the vacuum hose to the front of the windshield wiper door actuator -- YES & NO. Depends on your production date, and you will have to get answers from folks with original hoses because methinks the makers of the reproduction hoses don't offer this gradient of detail.

You do know that there were different windshield wiper door actuators right? And I am talking about different pie-plate style. Some had a straight tube toward the front of the car and some a 90* bend in the tube.

Now this thread ought to get interesting.

Hoses were simply straight with the designated color coding.. The shape and orientation of nipples on various vac actuators changed over time and this is documented in the various model year Judging Guide books...

        Disagree.

Some of the ends at the intake and the windshield wiper canister (dual pie pan type) were formed.

My 72 I believe has a few molded hoses at the vacuum tank area . these hoses are original. but as Terry says you may want to look a 70 with its original hoses. I can look at other hoses if you want later.

Agree with Patrick/Terry...some wiper door actuators had straight nipples and some had curved nipples, and it depends on production date. In fact...I'm pretty sure my very late 70 still had the straight nipples with formed hose ends, and had the relay mounted near the PB booster rather than on the RH inner fender like 71. All later service actuators likely had the curved nipples; if yours has been changed, you will hope they are reproducing the straight nipple version.

Changes in location of wiper door actuator relay and the curved actuator nipples were already shown in the 70 AIM, but I'm pretty sure those changes didn't make it into production until 71. If you try to install a straight tube on those straight nipple actuators, you end up with a big long looping hose bundle in the front...I don't think a straight tube will even fit on the rear nipple.
