    3x2 distributor clocking question

I have a question about setting up a 3x2 engine.

Distributor: is the vacuum advance supposed to be forward of the ignition shield box bracket or behind it? It seems that it should point forward to exit the dog house but then the tach drive points directly at the firewall.

Thanks Jack. I will play with it some more. My car is running now...wheel alignment today.
