Best Reproduction Teak Wheels?

Hi,

I recently purchased a repro teak wheel to enjoy with my '65 and was wondering (after the fact, of course) what was considered the "best" reproduction wheel made today? I purchased what was described as an "exact" repro by Zip. I'd love to know what everyones' thoughts on this and other wheels. I haven't used the wheel yet and will be willing to return it if not really an "exact" repro!

Going to agree with Dick. Eric's finger spacing and cut is much more like the original than others. Comfortable to drive.

Before returning anything, you may want to check with your supplier to see who's wheel they sell. For example, you may already have a Freeman wheel.

I have followed Doug's wheels from when he first started researching the design and types of wood used. I think his wheels are right on.

Doug Graves also did the teak wheel for my 65. It is right on the money. I know you can't go wrong with Eric Freeman either.
