Tires for 1960

Looking for suggestions on selecting tires for my 60. I'm going with radials and a wide white wall. The car won't be judged, but will be driven.

Would P205 75 R15 be equivalent to the original size?

Preferred brand?

I have Coker radials in that size. The seem to be pretty good tires, there are a couple of things the whitewalls require a bit of maintenance to keep their appearance and my speedometer reading is off as they are not the same height.

Be advised that the P205 75 R15 is too fat for the spare tire tub and the plywood cover won't seat as required....use the original tire 670 15 size for a spare.....just saying

We bought Coker radials for our 62 and are satisfied

Diamondback's. They use quality tires (Michelin, etc.) and have a number of stripe options, including www.
