Not exactly a technical topic but any inside tracks on events or editions for Corvette's 60th Anniversary in 2013? NCM, NCRS or Chevrolet.

Lots of speculation on this; based on info provided at the recent C5-C6 bash at the NCM in Bowling Green and other GM press releases the C6 will remain in production for two more years. That would make any '60th edition' a current gen car, not the C7 as many of us had hoped for. Another year to wait for the new generation and even then some speculation as to how different it will actually be. Unless there is a HP boost or some other significant mechanical change for the 60th, I am afraid it will be another embroidery/badge/wheel/stripe package for the current car.

It's also the 50th. for the C2. There may be events specific to that anniversary as well.

I am hearing 1963 cars will have lots of fun events to enjoy.

We would have already seen sneak pics of a 2013 if it was new, sounds like a repeat of the late 70's.
