Re: trany
Scott, may need some more info. Is the vibration while in motion, Or can it be with the engine in netural at a specfic RPM ,sometimes engine vibrations can be a tough to dia. , if the vibration is while in motion, maybe look at the driveshaft u-joints or half shaft u-joints.most driveline vibrations are from a bad joint or joints.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: trany
Scott, Ed's on target with the more info question. Do you have a BB or a small block, it makes a difference with flywheel balancing. When does the vibration occur; in neutral revving the engine, or at a specific speed, rpm or gear?
Lots more to know to determine the cause.

Re: trany
Thanks Guys, Sorry about not much info. The vibration happened in nutral @ about 3500 RPM, But we found the gremlen. I found the 454 has a dilepin on the flyweel that was ground off by the preveas owener ( STUPID)!!!!!. And after checking the clutch the flyweel was put back on two bolt patterns off. It is now on right.THANKS.
