Hi Guys & girls, Just got my 57 arctic blue & baige out of paint booth , I did all prep work & sprayed all interia myself, cost me 1100.oo for just the finish paints not including pream primers, etc. Got Duponts best , with hi solids clear, sealer, base & actors etc..., Plus close to a grand to a friend of friend to shoot it in a nice booth, shucks it sucks sometimes but finish came out like a 10K job, maybe worth it I guess now days when I here of these 10k plus jobs , the painter said thank the epa for some of this.........osha for some of it too. He also stated that the hobbie painters will be limited to two jobs a year as you will have to get a epa license to purshase paint soon
(told not hard test to pass), (epa mandates 2012). I might just let someone refinish the next one, was a hassel to find someone who would just shoot the car as it was properly prepaired.... I enclosed paint materials receipt for your viewing pleasures...............
