1965 Soft top rear bow weatherstrip

Could someone please give me some advise on how to install a rear bow weatherstrip seal, this is the round plastic seal that holds the weatherstripping in place once its installed, After installing the weatherstrip i cannot get the seal to go in, is there a trick to installing this retainer seal.

Brenton, I remove the rear bow from the frame and use a roller for replacing the screen in screen doors. Also, use some WD 40 on the rubber it makes a little bit of a mess but cleans up well. Put the rubber in first then use the roller to roll the round plastic into the weatherstrip. If the top material is tucked in the channel and the rear bow can not be removed it can be done on the car. But as Joe said"its a bitch" good luck
