The carb I have has an electric choke where is a good place to pick up the 12v power source? My car is a 1964 roadster, thanks.

Re: Electric Choke Power
You don't want to use the coil (+) terminal - that has ballast resistor-reduced current, and the electric choke requires a full 12 volts or the choke won't open all the way. You can use the bottom terminal on the ballast resistor where the 18-ga. black/pink wire is connected that comes through the firewall grommet, or feed it from the fuse block "Ign" cavity; both of those provide switched 12V ignition power. An in-line fuse in that wire is a good idea, to protect the ignition circuit.- Top
