67 master cylinder cap/ what color cad?

I have the original master cyclinder on my 67 and when I started my frame up I had it plated silver cad.

I notice ALL amber cad on these caps in picture of re- plated caps.

Also if there was amber cad on 67's how much and where?

I'm wondering if they are both OK or if they were silver cad when born?

Should be yellow zinc chromate. The chromate is a secondary after the zinc plating.

So not even cad but zinc.
