57 voltage regulator

I am looking for a date correct voltage regulator for a June 1957 built car. I understand Delco Remy 1119001 7A, B, C or D... would be correct. Any recommendations? Thanks for your help!

I have a "1119001 E" regulator but it is dated "2A" (Jan. 1962). After some research I found that it was used on 1962 Canadian Pontiacs.

i just purchased a 1959 date code 9001 voltage regulator from him and with shipping it was $182. He said it would take about 4 weeks from start of restoration to delivery. He does not always have a rebuilt/restored regulator ready to ship.

I just found a Delco Remy "1119001" voltage regulator at the Mansfield, MA, swap meet today (05/14/2011) but the date code is way too early, "6H" (August 1956) for your June 1957 car.
