Anyone have 69 roadster carpet pictures?

I have an Al Knock carpet set. Most of the pieces are self explanitory but not the rear pieces that go over the wheel wells. Is the carpet supposed to be cut to leave a flap between the supports of the rear deck lid hinges? It looks like some significant t******* is required but that doesn't seem right(??)

On a related note, have people found it easier to glue the backing to the car then the carpet to the backing or glue the backing to the carpet first?

    Pictures are always appreciated

Here's a pic from my 70, which I believe would also apply to your 69.

Not sure about the glue question, when I changed my carpet I re-used the old backing that was already glued to the car. But it was very easy to manipulate the carpet as needed without a backing attached to it.

One thing that will be different on your 69 from what Pat's picture shows is that the carpet will be glued to the side of the spring bracket and not pushed behind it. The attached picture shows how it was done. The picture I attached is of a 68 but my 69 is done the same way.
