Could anyone tell me the part numbers for A 1971 thanks

From your copy of the '71 AIM, shock PN's for the base suspension car are:

3192196, Front
3192869, Rear

Remember, these numbers are what was originally stamped on the parts. They are NOT what GM's service department stocked/sold. Why? The service parts were different--they were packaged in individual boxes and included mounting hardware...

Hi Dan,
Here's a couple pictures of the original rear shock numbers and dates from my 71 sb, standard suspension. My car is number 6589... a mid-January build.
