69 coil and bracket color

    69 coil and bracket color

    Was the original coil for a 69 L-46 solid black? Also, the bracket holding the coil in place should it be black or natural metal finish?

      ALL C3 (and more) Corvette Delco Remy coils were gloss black on the body and bottom. Coil mounting brackets are zinc plated steel, probably formed from galvanized sheet.
