Re: Thank You Joplin
Members,
I have been at the Joplin Regional meet many times. Probably all of them! The hospitality displayed by the people of this Regional is just hard to explain. Each and every one will do anything to make your visit a memorable event. The people in the area, the hotel, the management are all to be commended.
My hats off to Bob, Joan, Jim, Mike and all the others that work so hard so everyone else can enjoy the NCRS Joplin Meet.
It's all about cars in the NCRS but it's all about Corvettes and Friends at Joplin.

Re: Thank You Joplin
It was a great event--especially because I could see so many friends. I hope a Regional can return to Joplin sometime soon.

Re: Thank You Joplin
Joplin was my first experience and what a great one. We got to do a little sight seeing on Saturday afternoon which was "Rainbow Bridge" which is on Kansas Route 66.
The only problem that we had was driving in the storms on Wednesday, we had to pull over twice due to tornado sirens and torrential rains. We had our weather radio with us that was giving us information on what was in front of us and behind us.
Sunday as we travel back we got to see first hand the devastation these storms can bring.
One thing to think about if you do not have a weather radio please get one that few minutes of warning may save your life.- Top

Re: Thank You Joplin
The level of effort to make Top Flight went up a notch or two for me after seeing some of the very nice cars at the Joplin Regional. What i saw was a lot of hard work and pride. I also got to meet Roy Sinor and would like to report that he doesn't have horns or carry a pitch fork. If you missed it, try making it next year.- Top
