    Braided Wire For T.I. Ignition

I am looking for ignition resistance wire for G.M. systems. Are their suppliers who can supply various lengths of this wire. This wire was also used between the firewall bulk connector and the positive coil terminal on G.M. vehicles in the 60's.

The orginal stuff as proprietary to Packard Electric Division of GM, now a much smaller part of Delphi Automotive and out of many previous business lines. You don't mention the year, and the wire changed thru the years. The TI wire setup in '66 had two segments of the resistance wire, one a 0.43 ohm +/-.03 ohm and the second at .58 ohm +/- .05 ohm. Lectric Limited uses something in the reproduction harnesses, but I have no knowledge of what or where they obtain it.

Thanks William for your quick reply. Unfortunately I had to leave the computer for an important matter.
