    Headlight Knob

I had a difficult time getting the light switch to release the knob. After a bit of patience it released. Having problems getting switch to hold rod in. I have two switches and experiencing same with both. I'm getting ready to order new replacement as I can only assume original rod is showing age. Thought I would check before ordering.

    Walter,

I'm sure you know this but there is a button on the switch. Pull the knob all the way out and depress the button. Knob and rod should come right out.
When installing the Knob, it takes a little tap sometimes to get it to catch but all you have to do is run the rod all the way down and hit it gently with the palm of your hand.

      Joe,
Knew about the spring release but not about ther tap when installing. I'll give it a try. Thanks.
