    Engine Bay factory marks

Does any one have/know what factory marks would be in the engine bay for a 69 SB. If possible I need example pictures.

Thanks in advance for your help. Joe

    Hi Joe,
I'll start by asking a question.
Do you mean 'stickers', ink stamps, crayon marks?
    Maybe all of them?
This will also get you to the top again for some new looks!
    Regards,
    Alan

Crayon marks in the engine compartment would be great.

      Thanks

Joe, on my 72 the crayon marks are on the left and right toe boards, One is the job number (pass side) the other is PB (which I Think is power brakes). I did also find a number stamp under the pass. side fender.

Most of the time these marks will stay there and don't seem to be affected by the elements or time. there can be hidden under the black out.

You could find factory shorthand markings for the job number, usually on the passenger's side toe kick, PB for power bakes, UA6, PW, etc.

Thank you this is a big help. My next project is to put all the marks in the engine bay, frame, and drive shaft. Have the stencils just hope I get lucky and get it right.
