68 corvette rally wheels 1 year only ?

Did the 7 inch rally wheels in 68 use a one year only center cap and trim ring.

I believe they took the same trim ring as the 8 inch wheels. they did use the same center cap.

67 used 1-year-only wheel parts--68 rings and centers were the same as all the way through 82.

Well, Yes and no.
The very early 68 may of had a different cap. The rim of the cap has no ridge. But I think GM made the change as they were finding when people putting the caps back on, the ridge dented easily. So from Jan 68 to 82 all the caps were the caps were the same configuration with a ridge,
I have not seen any of the early caps on an early car. Never had the chance to see a survivor early 68
I've only seen early NOS 68 caps for sale.
