    Michael,
Is the stamped GM part number on your replacement Holley 3906631? It looks like that number in your photo but I can't quite read all the numbers. The 3810 is correct for a 67 Corvette w/300 & 350 HP eng. The date code is obviously missing.

    My 1966 Holley (3367, 3884505) carb has a date code "613" (1966, January, 3rd week).

I believe that the replacement Holley carbs made in later years used a Julian date code system (example: 001 6 = 1st day of 1976).

Dave, yes the part number stamp is 3906631-DA.

As Clem and John Hinckley (responded on Corvette Forum) have said, apparently Holley produced runs without dates. I wasn't aware of that and wondered if the date might be located somewhere else? Thanks

          Michael,

All the new replacement 3810's come without date stamps. Some outfits will date stamp them for you. Like this one:

I can see from your picture that the carb you have is a later replacement. The hex bowl screws give it away, and there are probably a lot of other features that would give it away to an judge. It probably doesn't have a 4743 stamped meeting block, but a later one ending in 08 or something like that.

But the points difference for your carb at judging is really not significant, as long as it works. Your could lose more points in Operations for the carb if it doesn't work right than you will for the replacement (which really looks like the original carb, except for the date code).
