Indy 500 Pace Car 100 Year Anniversary

Just wondered if any other Corvette Pace Car owners are planning to attend next month's 100 year anniversary activities up in Indianapolis. My son is finalizing our plans to take his 2008 up to participate. He will be bringing his son along as well, which will be the first "three generation" Corvette related function for us. We plan to stop at the Plant on the way up, do the tour, and visit the Corvette museum at Bowling Green.

what about the trans am pace cars stu? i have an 81 recaro and an 89. is this an invite only for vette owners. sorry to write "trans am" on a vette site. this sounds like a cool event.

I'm planning on going over with a buddy that has a 2007 Pace car. We're staying at the Radisson where most the events are taking place. Are you planning on going to the reception on Thursday night, the 19th? Hope we can meet up.
