Correct AC Fuel Pump 40658

I've searched for past posts and found them all interesting. I came across a NOS # 40658 . It is a type that has screws on the bottom with a metal tab that had the number on it. All others are the pressed on type. When did the pressed on start. My car is a March 68 build. Thanks jeff

Anything on the casting? Numbers, AC logo? Did it come in a box? If so, there usually is a date of manufacture (for the box) on one of the flaps.

The crimped pump started in August '66, for '67 model year production.

Thanks again all.there was a pump on eBay with this number.wasn't crimped. It had screws and had a silver tag with the number. Jeff
