I have heard lots of discussion about weather a C2 (K66) car should have a pilot hole or no hole drilled in the fire wall where ballast resistor would mount for Non TI Cars. Some have also stated there should be filler/puddy over the hole. What is correct???? I have what I believe to be an original 1966 427/425 with (K66) TI ignition. My car is an A-Body Car built in early March of 1966. There is a hole where the ballast resistor would mount that appears to never have been tapped with a screw, and there is no evidence of the ballast resistor bracket ever being on there. I also do have the clip under the driver side hood latch for the TI wiring. Any pictures of documented unrestored TI Cars would be greatly appreciated!!!
