1966 corvette compass

My 66 had a dealer installed compass some time in it's life. The decal with instructions printed on it is still on the inside of the glove box door. Does any one know or have a picture of what that time period compass would look like?

I don't have one or, even, a picture of one. However, if you can find a GM #986298 on eBay or elsewhere, you'll have what you seek.

Dealer installed. Mounted with a suction cup on the windshield. Page 161 in my Dobbins fact book.

Russ, If Roy B. was around I bet he would of had one , he seemed to of had a lot of GM gadgets.
