I can't see enough of the Buick to tell what year it is.

Looks like fun, one thing I learned racing is be open minded and and not a sheep, the most important thing is to buy the best parts possable, when they are at 50% of there use cycle replace with new, sell the old parts for 50% on the dollar.
When I quit racing my Nitro dragster I sold it for 75 cents on the dollar, remember the skinny guy drives, the drivers seat isnt always the best place to put the extra ballast.
I have a good friend selling a AA/fuel lakester it held the AA/A/B/Fuel record on the salt.......if he has it in a year or so I might own it................Good Luck John

On the way back from the Bend National in the '80s the family and I stopped for one of the salt races with the old Suburban -- before it was orange. We had a blast. Some of the friendliest car people I have ever meet. The girls didn't think too much of the experience, but I can understand getting hooked on that kind of fun.

                      Be careful out there.

'55 or '56 Buick - Dr, what are the dates? Perhaps we can get some of the Utah. Nevada & Arizona derelicts who have "Bonneville" on their "bucket lists" to move their D___ A___ to Utah to share the "beast"....

The 56 is coming along well. I hope to have it drivable in the next 45 days. We would like to have it done for one of the Maxton NC land speed events before we go to Bonneville.
I attached a photo of the car being remarried to the roll cage. My helper has been assisting in Corvette projects for over 40 years. She is a keeper.
