    Seat Belt Problem - 1960

I just received a set of reconditioned red seat belts from CC. They are beautiful, but I believe they sewed the Irving Air Chute label to close to the end of the belt on the buckle side. When I pull the belt tight for a comfortable riding position, enough of the belt pulls through the buckle that the label is face up. i believe that is incorrect. A previous thread indicated that one of the leading belt makers (east TX) sews the label 21 inches from the end back end of the buckle. Will someone with original 1960 seat belts measure the distance from the back of the buckle to the center point of the label? Thank you for your time.

Not sure exactly on a 60, but on my 62 the labels were about 21.5"

That is the second confirmation of 21.5 inches. My source for 1960 seat belt info is out of town until Monday.
