    AAC ashtray

Were all C2 ashtrays the same? Stamped with AAC?

I've discovered that mine does not have the stamp (I thought it did), but as been with the car for a very long time - which doesn't mean it wasn't replaced in the 70's. So, I guess I'm looking for one now - original, NOS, or repro. I don't smoke and it would be for judging.

How do the reproduction ash trays compare to originals?

Are originals hard to come by? Sources?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts
    Rob

Rob..My original is stamped AAC and the repop I have doesn't have AAC on it. The tab isn't in the exact same place on the repop. I don't know how the repop will judge. I would think an original in new condition would be difficult to find..Bill

        Mike-
I know Rob, and I know he will thank you profusely for your generosity. But I want to also speak up re. this gesture. I don't care what anyone says, this is a great club ! Anyone who says that NCRS is full of snobs is full of crap. Mike, you are a gentleman.
