Difficulty adjusting door striker

I have reinstalled the doors and adjusted the hinges for proper gaps but The door sticks out about 1/8" past the body even with the striker bolt all the way inboard. I can't see how there could be any other adjustment. The latch mechanisms are cleaned, lubed and seem to be working perfectly. Any suggestions?

Mike,

the door latch has 2 catch positions. If the striker is in too far you could be only catching on the first spot. If this is the caes try this.... Move the striker out an 1/8" at a time untill you can feel it catch on both positions.
Another thing comes to mind is the quality of door weaterstrip you used, some are harder than others, surpisingly NOS weatherstriping is the hardest of all. This also can cause your problem.

Mike, when I try to see if I am catching on both settings I push the door closed by hand slowly applying more pressure and feel the clicks.

THanks Rich, Everything is aligned correctly now. I was previously adjusting to the first latched position.
