    Thank you Tom, I will look into both those units. You are right, I went shopping for a GM unit and they are pricey!

      Also, keep one thing in mind. The original posi units are 50+yrs old. MANY have been abused, stressed and may heve cracks in the case halves adjacent to the bolt holes for the case bolts.
      An Eaton or Nitro posi unit will be BRAND NEW, NOT stressed and free of cracks-----------------------and a heck of a lot cheaper than a tired original unit. And again, I repeat, the guts of a rearend cannot be seen by a judge.
