    Re: Front sits too high

First, I'd measure the height per the AIM to see just how too high it is. The procedure measures points on the suspension to determine height.

Then, I'd look for correct springs. Some of the aftermarket stuff out there is "one size fits all" and have the incorrect rate for your car. You may have springs designed for a BB which is considerably heavier.

Another thing to try would be to loosen the bolts on the ends of the "A" arms to allow the suspension to settle and relieve any twisting motion of the rubber bushings which may be partially supporting the car weight. These should only be tightened when the full weight is on the suspension, wheels on the ground.

As mentioned replacement springs are hit and miss. If you don't mind getting docked a few points in judging I would suggest going with F-41 front springs. They lower the ride height by about 3/4" -1". Easy to install no spring compressor needed.

Might want to check with Eaton springs. They use GM blueprints. My ride height front and rear were dead on after installing their springs.

Tim, Make sure the coil springs are seated in the spring towers of both upper and lower a frames with the spring end in the correct location, also make sure no spacer has been added to either upper or lower a frame.

                Tim,
To also go along with what Roy said, many coil springs have a top and bottom. Top is generally notched to indicate direction. Make sure they are not assembled up side down. If upside down the coils will appear very tight together on the portion you can see.
