Larry, Now you have more vis and perhaps competition, yes, with the original owner, and detailed docs, can't go wrong if you like the car.

      Re: Stamp Pad Opinion

      Ron,

I am not concerned with competition. While I am very intrigued with this car because it is one owner, real deal, with good docs and was sold new about three miles from my house, it is more than I can take on. If the body were nice with good gaps and no obvious blemishes and repairs showing through the paint I would be on it strong. I never would have posted about it until it was mine.

I hope someone finds this to be a good deal and something they can bring back to its former glory.

It probably goes without saying, but based on my personal inspection I would advise anyone looking at it seriously to look at it personally or have an expert look at it for you. I will answer any question in as much detail as possible if you ask. PM me if you want to take me up on it.

Mid Dec Engine Stamp matches up with Mid Jan 67 build VIN. $55K for a one owner, lo miles 67 AC Coupe, fully papered. Looks pretty honest and true in the photos to me. Someone might score a good one here.

ps. 7 year EBay dealer with limited sales, but 100% feedback, and no change in EBay ID is also a positive.
Keep an eye on the auction. The seller told me he would try to get a picture of the stamp pad posted, after removing the paint.

Here is the pad without paint. It looks like they scraped it a little hard, but it still shows fairly well. Are there any doubts regarding the authenticity of this pad?

          Thanks,
