What crank is correct for a 427, 4351 2 bolt main block?

Looking for help identifying which crank is correct for the 427, 4351, 2 bolt main, 67 corvette block? Does it have a part number stamped on it, if so what is it? Thanks. Chuck

The most common 427 crankshaft forgings of the period were 6223 or 3856223. There were a few others that may have been used, but these are the most common.

Joe, thanks. That's the number I'm finding also. Chuck

          Chuck,

I thought that all 427/435hp (4351) blocks were 4 bolt mains (not 2)? Am I incorrect?

            Robert -

The 3904351 block was produced in both 2- and 4-bolt versions; the wording in the original post ("427, 4351") refers to the 4351 casting number, not 435hp. The 435hp version (L-71) was indeed a 4-bolt block, and the 390 and 400hp versions were 2-bolt blocks.
