    '67 Ballast Resistor

I have a '67 big block 390 that has a white ceramic ballast resistor mounted on the firewall. Is this correct? I thought that the resister only came on the small block. If I remove the resistor, where do I make the current wire connections? I am getting my car ready for WildWood and would appreciate any information to correct the situation.
    Thank you
    Peter

Since you said it is not a TI car, the white ceramic ballast resistor is correct. SB or BB the same BR was used.
