    They say it's gone now after taking the pictures in 2005. I bet some crazy SOB actually took it to rebuild, talk about nuts!

      Yeah...I heard some guy dragged it out and built it back as a 56 w/Power Pack heads. Said it was Original Black w/Black Coves but now Red over Red Interior. Soft Top Only (Black). It's gotta 1x4 210HP 265ci engine w/3 speed tranny now. No Radio, heater or any other fancy stuff.

      He sold it to a guy in California who has been driving it for a couple of years.....

          The Corvette was a great donor car.
          A friend of mine with a 61 got the dash cluster out of it in the early sixties.
          Another guy with a 58 got lots of bits and pieces over the years including the rear end.
          Pieces of the car are all over the midwest.
          I was sorry to see it go.
