Frightening! Although an April Fool article that has been around for several years, it is credible as being uncomfortably close to Schumer's political philosophy. Stranger things have happened over the years
even when we weren't burdened with crushing debt.

The thing that's scared me about this email every time I've seen it is that it might give some of the tax & spend democraps an idea for a new source of revenue. Don't feed the bears.

I heard a little rumblings of a similar idea at the local level several years ago by an over zealous tax commissioner. Rumor was that he was informed that he didn't have the authority without authorization from the state.
