Finish on support brackets for tank top Radiator
Getting ready to install a Dewit tank top radiator on my 1960 270 horse. Would like to learn what was the typical finish on the brackets between the radiator and the core support was. I'm guessing they were left natural aluminium, except for the black-out coverage they received? They may also have been sprayed semi flat black (more evenly) before they were installed. I checked the archives but didn't find any prior discussion, nor did I find any reference to finish in the AIM. Would like to do it right (for once
