I went to put my radiator overflow tank on my engine the other day and found that the bracket that was on the tank does not fit properly to my manifold. After studying it a while I realized I think that it is for a fuel injected car. The holes in the bracket that bolt to the manifold are not correct and the strap around the tank has a hook on it toward the outside of the car. The space between the holes is 2 1/2".
It has no part number on it so can anyone confirm my thoughts that it indeed is for a fuel injected car? At one time, someone had changed my brother's car to a fuel injection system, then someone else changed it back to carburated.
