    Zinc Die Cast Hood Wedge Receivers

    I picked up some original '63 zinc die cast hood wedge receivers to replace some reproduction pieces. These are pretty grotty and badly oxidized from age. Any suggestions for freshening these up? Soap & water and a Scotchbrite pad? 0000 steel wool? Chemicals? Thanks in advance.
