66' AC Muffler

I may have to replace the AC muffler on my 66'. The schrader valve is leaking and I can't get it out. I see the muffler listed in the Long Island catalogue and wondered if anyone has pruchased one and if they are the same configuaration and looks like the original. I'd like to keep the car as original as possible.

Gary - While I can't speak to the "correctness" of the LICS reproduction '66 AC muffler, I do know that the items can be returned. Check out their return policy to be sure.
If you get one, let us know if it's a satisfactory reproduction. Pete

I believe mine came from LICS and judged with no issues, Pete you've seen it. BTW mine is for an early 67.

Gary:

I would call Classic Auto Air in Florida regarding repairing your AC muffler......even if you buy a replacement muffler from LICS or someone else.

They were successful in rebuilding a friends C3 AC muffler and manifold assembly which had a leak. Maybe they can also help you.
