    Brake line clips '65

Just to be sure , in '65 they had not begun to use the Mickey Mouse clips ? So it should be all u clips on parking brake cable and brake hoses ?
Was there a clip on the trailing arm in '65 to hold the brake line ? and if so, what does it look like ?
    Thanks
    Marty

Excellent thread a couple of months ago on the trailing arm clip, unique to '65s. Might be an early/late thing as my late car has none.

AFAIK, (and looking at AIM and '65 TIM&JG), no Mickey Mouse used in the '65 MY hydraulic brake lines. U-clips # 476737 at the brass junction blocks and on the trailing arms and frame where the flexible hoses join the brake tubing.

On the parking brake, U-clip # 516213 on the frame cross-member near the kickup. I'm surprised this # is different than the 476737, and the AIM shows no U-clip (or even a Mickey Mouse) at the cable anchor on the trailing arm.

I checked my 2 '65s, and Walt Disney resides where the 4 #516213 clips are called out in the AIM (2 each side) No guarantee that original. They are called out as "heat treated U-clips" in the TIM&JG, which I don't think is the same thing.

      Marty,

This won't help you a bit, but I feel I must ask... What does a Mickey Mouse clip look like?
