    Go visit the dealer and ask for the general sales manager. Things change when the dealer sees that you have the initiative to travel for the cause. I live in Pittsburgh; last summer I traveled to San Diego to see the selling dealer of my `67. The dealership, Courtesy Chevrolet, was so impressed that I made the trip that they introduced me to old employees and dug through their parts to find a whole box of vintage NOS plate frames that had not seen the light of day in years. The dealership, scheduled for a face lift this year, looked just as it did in 1967. Got a tour of the facility including their meeting room which has the same 60`s furniture. Even dug me out some vintage dealership stationary with pictures of cars from the era. I did all this in spite of the fact that I already had the POP and owner trail. Still met some old employees with memory of the days. Nobody will take you serious on the phone.

      Unfortunantly I am not having a lot of luck in locating a Don Mahurin Chevrolet in Indiana. The only Don Mahurin I could find opened in Henderson Ky. in 1966 and has changed hands 6 times since then. It now exists as Ridley Buick-Pontia-GMC in the same location as Don Mahurin. None of my contacts at local Chevy dealers were very hopeful that any information from 1967 would be available after so many ownership changes. Sorry I don't have better news. Please let me know if you have any additional information on a Chevy dealer in Henderson IN. Thanks.
