'54 upper radiator hose question

'54's have an upper radiator hose that has the letters "GM" stamped in white capital letters for the entire length of the hose (approx 6" -8"). My question is when the hose is installed correctly, should the letters be right side up, or upside down when viewed from the passenger side of the engine bay?

Rick, mine is installed right side up as viewed from the passenger side...
