Can anyone tell me what the gloss level of the black paint on a 63 radiator shroud should be?

The entire shroud (minus rubber seal) was dipped in thin semi flat/gloss black. The results may be slightly more glossy than semi because of the fact that it was dipped. If it were sprayed with the same paint, it would be more on the semi flat side. Any semi flat/gloss should do it.

Definitely not gloss, ESPECIALLY gloss black from a typical hardware store spray can, which contains very little pigment and a lot of clear/binder..
