    L-72 Air Cleaner Base?

Was the air cleaner base for an L-72 car unique to that car or was it used in other applications of the same era? If so, which codes?

Larry, Mark IV engines, remember its a 65-66 only base.

We have a couple of threads that cover the part numbers, search on 6423240. 67 and up was 6423907.

        Re: L-72 Air Cleaner Base?

66 327 has a one year only base though we have seen early 67's with this base. It has a tube that goes out the left side.

        The 65 396 66 427 base exits the right hand side, L36 and L72.

67 427 got the added bump. That went in late summer 1966.

For more detail search those part numbers I mentioned, Dave and Joe helped put together a real good thread and it was only last month or so...
