A FAQ on the TDB is "Who do you recommend for Corvette insurance". My first cruise of the season ended abruptly when my water pump failed. I have been a Hagerty customer for years , but never had to use their roadside service. I have to say that I was very impressed with the degree of professionalism and care that they gave my vehicle. When I called the 888 number a real person (not voice mail) answered the phone. They called me back to tell when the vehicle would be picked up and called again to be sure that the vehicle was picked up and that I was satisfied with to process. I thought that was very good " customer service ". Something that seems to be getting more rare these days. Oh,and no, I don't work for Hagerty. Just thought I would share this experience.

I have used Hagerty for years for my antique wooden boat and for my antique cars. I also have Roadside Assistance and it's good to know you had a good experience after your breakdown.
I've also discovered that within Hagerty there is a special group, Private Client Services, that I've recently used. One of the coverage options they provide is to insure a car after purchase that is going overseas. Once a car is purchased here in the US, any insurance ends then. Hagerty provides a policy to cover the car during land transport and also while it is being stored before shipment at the port, as well as on the boat to final destination. The policy is underwritten by Lloyds of London with surprisingly very reasonable rates. I highly recommend them and in particular my contact there, Rick Worm, who has been a great help. No affiliation, just want to share a great experience as well.
