    Tom -

The sticker locations should be shown in UPC 0 in the Assembly Manuals.

Tom - you realize that NCRS does not judge window stickers or their presence/absence!

I know you didn't ask, but my 1970 was on the driver's side, but ... It also wasn't put on by the factory. Early Corvettes (which mine is even though the s/n is 2161) had the window sticker (Maroney label) mailed to the dealer so that the car could not be sold before new car introduction day. So the dealer applied mine, with cellophane tape as I asked him.

Because of this it still has the creases from being folded to go in the envelope, and the VIN is all typed in the same size letters. Of course none of this matters for your late 1969.

I asked a similiar question about the location on which window the window sticker was placed after seeing some old Chevrolet dealership photos of 1974 Corvettes new sitting on the front lot. I these couple of photos the window stickers were on the driver's side window.

I got no reponse to my earlier question. Maybe someone can shed some light on the '70s Corvettes.

Tom, I don't intend to overrun your posting, but my request I think is near the same question you have.

          Thanks,

Tom, The 1979 Corvette window sticker was on the passenger side window with the EPA sticker. Save the Wave.

Peter I have an original owner 1970 coupe. I carefully removed my 1970's sticker from the drivers window stating $6,308.xx for total price. It is in one piece and very readable.

Follow JohnZ's advice. The AIM not only shows the correct position, it usually has directions on how the stickers were to be applied.

Well that explains why the original owner of mine never saw a window sticker. The first time he saw the car they were backing it off the truck.
