Current Competent Radio Repair

I have a 69 coupe and the slide bar will pick up FM for a second with jiggling and then loose everything. My shop guy in Huntington Beach says there were 2 good places to send it out for repair; one guy has retired and the other passed away.

Any suggestions on a great current repair shop?

Another vote for Jerry. He restored/repaired the radio for my 65 and the Wonderbar for my 60. There is none finer than Jerry. Quick turn-around and he's as honest as the day is long. I've used others, but never again.

Northern California has an outstanding radio specialist in Charles Siegfried located in Sebastopol. He is member and advertises in the Driveline. Excellent service with a warranty to boot..........

I used D&M Restoration for my 70's radio and it came back perfect. Even had the PV judge comment on how good the AM reception was.

Barry Dalton has repaired 3 radios for me - a '68 AM-FM for my 442, a '70 AM-FM mono for my GTO, and a spare wonderbar '69 AM-FM for a B or C body Olds. All work perfectly and his prices were decent. He is in Grants Pass, OR, phone 541-474-2524, email radiodoc@rvi.net. He's got a neat shop with lots of spare parts, too - I went there a couple of years ago and I'd say he's pretty good on detail and making things the way they are supposed to be!
