62- Fuel line too close to exhaust crossover?

I installed new fuel lines and installed the original pump after rebuilding it. Bubba had the wrong pump with fittings In/Out in different locations so he messed around with different fittings to make it work..

Now after putting this all together with the correct parts, my only question is, is the rubber flex hose too close to the crossover?


I always get nervous with fuel so close to hot things.

Thoughts?

Hard to tell from pictures. I can talk a measurement from mine tomorrow. Here's 2 from my car. They are close.

I should add: In the second picture the line is disconnected from the pipe to the tank and there is a clear hose attached as I drain the tank and line of fuel.

There is about 2" between the fuel hose and exhaust.
