Interesting thing to watch when you have had experience taking one of these things apart and putting it back together. (1965 CJ-5). Since they did not bleed the brakes, the only way to stop it was the hand brake, which is a long cable and handle like our `1953-1966. The clevis and pin then actuate a mechanical drum brake between the drive shaft and rear of the transfer case.

We saw this before, remember? You'd save a fortune on fasteners. There's probably only 20 bolts in the whole thing.

Except for the wheel bolts, they are just finger tight.

I was counting the wheel bolts, too. Two per wheel. The guys on the back were slow, so the front wheel guys had to wait on them. They'd never survive in NASCAR.

Never reconnected the top radiator hose either. Come to think of it, I've looked at a couple of Corvettes these guy just may have restored.
